Demon Deacons Announce Spring Slate

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Already in the thick of preseason training, the Wake Forest men's soccer team announced its 2012 spring schedule on Monday, Feb. 20.
The challenging schedule includes three home tilts, four fixtures against 2011 NCAA Tournament teams and a rematch with the 2011 NCAA Champion North Carolina Tar Heels.
Wake Forest will open up the spring against the 2011 Big Ten Champions, Northwestern, on March 10 at Spry Stadium before hitting to road to play a CAA opponent, VCU, and an NCAA Second Round team in Coastal Carolina.
The Deacs will return to Spry Stadium for their final two fixtures, playing another NCAA Second Round team, West Virginia, on April 14 and ACC rival North Carolina to wrap up the spring season on April 21.
All matches are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. kickoffs except the April 14 match versus West Virginia, which will remain to be announced.
