Wake Forest will play its final road game of the regular season as it travels to Virginia on Friday, Feb. 24. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. from the John Paul Jones Arena.
How To Catch The Game
- The game will be televised on the Regional Sports Network. Tom Werme (play-by-play) and Stephanie Ready (analyst) will have the call.
Last Time Out
- Wake Forest picked-up its second victory of the season over Clemson, 63-51 in Littlejohn Coliseum.
- The Deacons made a season-high 10 three-pointers in the win and shot a season-best 48 percent (10-of-21) from beyond the arc.
- Wake also grabbed 52 rebounds in the game which was the second-high total this season.
- Sophomore Chelsea Douglas made four of the 10 three-pointers and finished with a game-high 15 points.
- Junior Lakevia Boykin scored in double-figures for the 12th time in ACC play, finishing with 10 points and a team-high four assists.
- Sophomore Lindsy Wright and freshman Dearica Hamby each grabbed a career-high nine rebounds.
- The win was Wake's third in the last four meetings at Clemson.

- Virginia comes into the game having won three of its last four and are 19-9 on the season and 7-7 in the conference.
- The Cavaliers downed in-state rival Virginia Tech last Sunday, 66-40.
UVa has three players averaging better than 8.5 points per game, led by Ariana Moorer. Moorer is averaging 13.5 per contest and has visited the free throw line a total of 153 times on the year. - Ataira Franklin has made a team-high 36 three-pointers and is averaging 12.0 points per game. Franklin also tops the team with 20 blocked shots.
- Chelsea Shine is averaging 8.9 points per game while Lexie Gerson is at 8.5 points per contest.
- Virginia head coach Joanne Boyle is in her first season with the Hoos. This is her 10th season overall as a head coach and she holds a career mark of 223-102.
Series History
- This will be the 66th all-time meeting between the two schools.
- Virginia holds an astounding 61-4 edge in the series but the Demon Deacons have won two of the last three meetings.
- Wake Forest has won just once in Charlottesville, and that came back in 1978.
- Virginia had won 49-straight games in the series from 1979-2002 until Wake Forest stopped the skid with a 77-66 victory at home in 2003.
