Josh Bush became the fourth Wake Forest player drafted on Saturday when he was selected in the sixth round by the New York Jets. Bush was the 17th player picked in the sixth round and No. 187 overall.
Bush finished among the national leaders in interceptions with six during the 2011 season. He was tied for ninth in the nation and second in the ACC in interceptions. Bush was fifth on the team with 59 tackles and totaled 11 passes defended.
Bush was a first team All-ACC selection and a third team Associated Press All-America pick.
As a sophomore in 2009, Bush picked off NC State's Russell Wilson, ending Wilson's NCAA record streak of 379 consecutive pass attempts without an interception.
Bush is the first Wake Forest player drafted by the Jets organization since the New York Titans selected guard Nick Patella in the 1960 American Football League draft.
