WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Andrew Harris and Michael Gamble, both incoming freshman in the Wake Forest men's soccer program, were named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's U-18 Academy Playoffs Best XI Team.
The two players helped their club team, Baltimore Bays Chelsea, advance from the USSF Development Academy Playoffs in Frisco, Texas and secure a spot in Finals Week, which will be held in Houston later in the month.
Harris, a goalkeeper, finished his high school career without losing a game in the Academy Playoffs. Gamble, a forward, scored two goals in three games for Bays.
Harris and Gamble are part of the highly regarded 2012 men's soccer recruiting class which will arrive on campus in August in preparation for the fall season.
