Wake Forest Head Coach Jim Grobe
On Liberty...
"They've done some different things over the past few years both offensively and defensively. We're preparing for a lot of different things. They are a very strong team in the FCS so we know we're going to have to play some good football on Saturday if we're going to have a chance to win."
On remaining questions going into Saturday's game...
"I think on some areas I think we're better and in some areas we're weaker. I think we've got some questions on the offensive line and with the receivers. I think everybody's looking forward to seeing how the running backs do. I know I am. Defensively, (there are) not as many questions. We'll find out on Saturday night."
On quarterback Tanner Price...
"I think he needs to be a good leader. He's always been a good leader. As a true freshman we threw him in too early, and he really didn't have a good supporting cast. Last year, he improved quite a bit. This year we've lost some guys on the offensive side and he's got to take care of those guys. He's capable of doing that. He takes his job very seriously."
On the defense...
"With the different offenses and option teams along with the teams with power football, there are too many offenses to think you can be dominating (on defense). I think what we've got to do is take advantage of our opportunities and get some three-and-outs once in a while and get our share of turnovers - play hard-nosed football."
On special teams...
"We're trying to balance our kicking game out. Most of the guys on our special teams also play significant backup roles on offense and defense. I think the big key with us on special teams is how well we kick and punt the football. Our supporting cast is going to be really, really good."

Junior Quarterback Tanner Price
On the excitement heading into the season...
"It's really exciting. I can't believe that another season is already upon us. I know everyone is really thrilled, and the team is really excited. We can't wait for Saturday night."
On having Michael Campanaro as an offensive weapon...
" It's huge when you have a guy like Michael who is a playmaker. They make big plays, and it's great being surrounded by talented players because that makes me look a lot better. I can throw a little bubble route and Camp will take it 30 yards for a touchdown. I love having guys like that on the team."
On the offensive line...
"I think the offensive line has done a really good job. Throughout camp they've been working really hard, and they all have a really positive attitude. I feel good about where they're at, and this will be a good game to see where they're at and how far they've come."

Sophomore Tailback Orville Reynolds
On being excited with the first game quickly approaching...
"It is really crazy. It's just really exciting, and everybody is just ready to go out there and hit somebody else other than ourselves. We've been waiting for this. We went through two-a-days and it was rough, but as soon as we hear the game is less than a week away, it's like we got our second wind. We got our energy back."
On going into the season knowing he'll be playing from Week 1...
"It's great to know that the game is coming this Saturday and there is no redshirt or anything like that going on. Everyone who has been playing know they'll be in the game. I'm just really excited. I know I'll be returning kicks and I'll be in the backfield with DeAndre Martin, Josh Harris and Tyler Jackson. We all bring a different element to the game. Anytime someone is on the field, we know that we have to root each other on and do the best we can for the team."

Freshman Wide Receiver Sherman Ragland III
On the excitement of game week...
"I'm definitely excited about the game coming up. We've prepared for it since the end of last year. As a freshman, it's exciting to see all this hard work pay off."
On playing a team from the FCS in Liberty...
"We don't take anyone lightly. So we'll play them as if they were Florida State, or an SEC team or any of the premiere teams in college football. We'll come out and fight just as much and add as much fuel to the flame as they will."
On replacing Chris Givens this season...
"Chris (Givens) was a great receiver and he led the team in many ways during the season. It's going to be tough as a whole receiving corps to equally contribute each game and support one another. We're going to work as a team and try and get this thing going."
On the experience and leadership of Tanner Price...
"It's comforting to know that I have a quarterback that won't lead me into chaos or suicide watch going over the middle. It feels good to have a great leader back there."
