Deacs to Play Twice in Three Days
Wake Forest will host a pair of non-conference battles over the weekend, beginning with Boston University at 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium on Friday.
The Demon Deacons will then host West Virginia on Sunday at 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
How to Catch the Games
Both games will be streamed live on WakeForestSports.com, as Steven Wright will have the call.
You can also get live updates via the Wake Forest men's soccer Twitter account. Follow the team @wakemenssoccer or Twitter.com/wakemenssoccer.
Last Time Out
Wake Forest opened up the season with a 1-0 win over Wofford, as freshman Jalen Robinson scored his first collegiate goal in his first collegiate contest.
The Demon Deacons dominated possession throughout the game, outshooting the Terriers 19-8.
Goalkeeper Michael Lisch recorded his sixth-career shutout without needing to make a save.
This Weekend's Opponents
Boston U. enters the weekend with a 1-1-0 record, falling to St. John's in the season opener, 3-0, and defeating Boston College, 1-0.
West Virginia is 2-0 behind a 2-1 win over Hartford and a 1-0 win over Stetson.
Series History
Wake Forest does not have much of a history with either team, as the Deacs have never played Boston U. and defeated West Virginia in the only ever meeting in 2007, 3-1. The win came in the Third Round of the NCAA tournament, en route to the school's only national title.
Next Up
Wake Forest will hit the road for the first time next weekend when the Deacs open up ACC play at Clemson at 7:30 p.m.
