With The Win
- Wake Forest improves to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in non-conference games.
- Wake Forest leads the series with Army 8-4 and has won six straight.
- Wake Forest is 6-0 vs. Army at BB&T Field.
- Jim Grobe's record improves to 71-68 at Wake Forest and 104-101-1.
- Grobe's non-conference record improves to 33-16 at Wake Forest.
- Wake Forest ends a streak of two straight Homecoming losses.
A Pair Of 100-Yard Rushers
- Wake Forest junior Josh Harris and freshman Deandre Martin each rushed for over 100 yards in the game.
- Harris finished with 129 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns while Martin posted 115 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns.
- The duo is the first Wake Forest tandem to each rush for over 100 yards in a game since Chris Barclay (210) and Micah Andrews (142) each ran for over 100 yards against East Carolina on Sept. 17, 2005.
- That was Harris' fourth 100-yard rushing game in his career and the most since he had 136 yards against Florida State last season. It was also his third-career multi-touchdown game of his career. He also ran for two scores against Presbyterian and Virginia Tech in 2010.
- For Martin, it was his 100-yard rushing game and his first multi-touchdown game.
Season-High Rush Yards
- The Demon Deacons had a season-high 296 yard on the ground against Army.
- That is the most since the Deacons ran for 415 yards in the 2010 season-opener against Presbyterian on Sept. 2, 2010.
The Beat Goes On For Camp
- Junior Michael Campanaro had another great game, finishing with 12 catches for 153 yards and two touchdowns.
- Campanaro also ran the ball five times for 31 yards and another score.
- His 4-yard touchdown run in the first quarter was the second of his career. His first TD run came on Sept. 18, 2010 at Stanford.
- Campanaro is the first Demon Deacon with three touchdowns in a game with since Chris Barclay scored three touchdowns against East Carolina on Sept. 17, 2005.
- This is the first multi-touchdown game of Campanaro's career.
- For the season, Campanaro has 36 receptions for 421 yards and he has a total of four touchdowns.
Three's NOT A Crowd
- For just the second in school-history, Wake Forest had two 100-yard rushers and a 100-yard receiver in a game.
- Josh Harris had 129 rushing yards, Deandre Martin had 115 yards rushing and Michael Campanaro had 153 yards receiving.
- The only other time that happened was against Illinois State on Sept. 10, 1988 when Tony Rogers (108) and Mark Young (118) were each over 100 yards rushing and Ricky Proehl had 109 yards receiving.
Price Moving Up The Charts
- Junior Tanner Price finished the game 15-of-24 for 221 yards and two touchdowns.
- That was his first multi-touchdown pass game of the season.
- Price moves into fifth all-time in school history with 5,191. He passed Rusty LaRue who finished with 5,056 yards from 1992-95.
- That was also Price's 10 career victory as a starting quarterback, moving him into a tie for 10th in school history.
Jackson Gets Defensive
- Justin Jackson had a career-game against the Black Knights.
- Jackson finished the game with a career-high 11 tackles, his second blocked kick and his first career fumble recovery.
- Jackson blocked Army's first PAT attempt in the first quarter. That was the second blocked kick of his career. He also blocked a punt last season against North Carolina.
- That was the first blocked PAT for the Deacs since Kevin Smith blocked one against Boston College on Nov. 6, 2010.
- Jackson also jumped on an Army fumble in the third quarter, marking his first career fumble recovery.
Big Game For The Defense
- A number of Wake Forest players finished the game with career-highs.
- Juniors Zach Thompson and Mike Olson led the team with 12 tackles a piece.
- The 12 tackles were career-highs for both players.
- Kris Redding and Daniel Mack each finished with a career-high nine stops.
- Redding also had a tackle for loss for the third-straight game and it gives him 3.5 for a year.
- Senior Riley Haynes had eight tackles, including seven solo stops. The eight tackles were the third-highest total of his career.
That's A Lot Of Points
- The 49 points scored by the Demon Deacons were the fifth-most points scored all-time in BB&T Field history.
- It was the 10th game with 49 or more points by the Deacs in the ACC era.
Miscellaneous Notes
- Wake Forest won the toss and elected to defer.
- Wake Forest captains were juniors Tanner Price and Zach Thompson.
- The 517 yards of total offense for the Demon Deacons were the most yards since they rolled-up 555 yards in a loss to Miami at BB&T Field on Oct. 31, 2009.
