Wake Forest will look to get back on track this Saturday as it hosts in-state rival NC State.
The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at BB&T Field and will be televised locally on Fox Sports Carolinas and other regional sports networks. It can also be heard on the Wake Forest IMG Sports Network and online at WakeForestSports.com.
Last Time Out
Clemson raced out of the gate and scored on its first three possessions to take control of the game and claimed a 56-7 victory over Wake Forest last Saturday.
Tiger quarterback Tajh Boyd threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns while also running 17 times for 69 yards and another score.
For the Deacs, senior quarterback Tanner Price was 14-of-22 for 125 yards and one touchdown. He connected with Sherman Ragland III for a 10-yard TD strike, the fi rst TD catch of Ragland's career.
Senior Michael Campanaro caught seven passes for 75 yards. He is now in second place all-time in Wake Forest history with 194 career receptions.
Redshirt freshman Teddy Matthews made a career-high nine tackles.
Wake Forest Storylines
The Demon Deacons have enjoyed playing teams from the Tar Heel State. Under head coach Jim Grobe, Wake Forest is 31-10 against teams from North Carolina.
Head coach Jim Grobe is just two wins shy of tying "Peahead" Walker for the school record of 77 career victories.

Wake Forest and NC State are meeting for the 107th time which is the most meetings against any school for Wake Forest.
The teams have split the last six meetings in the series with the home team winning each time.
The Deacs have not lost to State at BB&T Field since the Wolfpack's 17-14 victory in 2001.
Next Up...
Wake Forest will enjoy its fi rst of two bye weeks next week before returning to action at home against Maryland on Oct. 19.
The game will be Wake Forest's Homecoming game.
