The Wake Forest women's basketball team opened practice this week in the Budd Gym on campus. The Demon Deacons have begun preparations for the season-opener at Marquette on Nov. 9.
Wake Forest will be one of the youngest teams in the ACC this season as it features a roster with six freshmen. Leading the group however is one of the top point guards in the conference in senior Chelsea Douglas. She led the team in scoring last season and was a second team All-ACC selection.
The team has switched up its practice times this fall and will practice mostly in the mornings before class. Check out photos from their latest practice.
