Wake Forest Remains In Sixth At Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Wake Forest carded a second round 303 and remains in sixth place through two rounds of the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C.
The Demon Deacons are 33-over par and in sixth place in the 18-team field. Alabama continues to lead the way at 1-under par while Duke is in second place at 7-over. Clemson is third at 22-over, South Carolina is fourth at 23-over and Arizona fifth at 30-over par.
Individually for the Deacs, senior Olafia Kristinsdottir leads the way as she is tied for 21st at 7-over par. She balanced a pair of double-bogeys with three birdies on Saturday.
Juniors Allison Emrey and Marissa Dodd are a shot behind Kristinsdottir at 8-over par and tied for 25th. Emrey followed a 74 on Friday with a 78 on Saturday while Dodd did the opposite and had a team-low 2-over 74 in the second round.
Freshmen Elizabeth Doty and Sierra Sims each shot rounds of 5-over 77 on Saturday. Doty was 5-over par through the first eight holes but played the final 10 holes at even-par.
Alabama's Stephanie Meadow continues to lead the way individually at 3-under par. She was aided on Saturday with a hole-in-one at the par-3 13th.
The Demon Deacons are paired with South Carolina and Arizona for the final round on Sunday which begins with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. Golfstat.com will have live scoring of the final round.
