- Wake Forest will be facing Syracuse for just the third time when the teams meet this Saturday at the Carrier Dome.
- Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on RSN. The game can also be heard on the Wake Forest Sports Network and online at WakeForestSports.com.
Last time Out
- Wake Forest pushed No. 7 Miami to the wire, but the Hurricanes scored a touchdown with 53 seconds to play to escape with a 24-21 victory.
- The Deacs scored on a 44-yard reception by running back Dominique Gibson to take a 21-17 lead with 4:02 remaining in the game, but the Hurricanes answered back on the following drive, going 73 yards in 10 plays capped off by a Duke Johnson one-yard touchdown run.
- Tanner Price was 25-of-45 passing for 301 yards and two touchdowns.
- Ten of those completions were to Campanaro, who ended the day with 88 yards receiving.
- Tyree Harris led all Deacon receivers with a career-high 95 receiving yards before leaving the game with an injury.
- Safety Ryan Janvion, a Miami, Fla., native recorded a career-high 14 tackles on the day.
Wake Forest Storylines
- Head coach Jim Grobe has tied "Peahead" Walker for the most victories as a head coach in school record with 77.
- Heading into the final month of the regular season, the Demon Deacons are in search of two more victories to become bowl eligible. Wake Forest's last bowl game was the 2011 Music City Bowl.
- Tanner Price is nearing the Wake Forest touchdowns record. Price has accounted for 62 touchdowns in his career (51 passing, 10 rushing, 1 receiving). Riley Skinner holds the record with 65 TDs (60 passing, 4 rushing, 1 receiving).
The Opposition & Series History
- This will be just the third all-time meeting between Wake Forest and Syracuse.
- The series is split at 1-1 as each team won on its home field.
- The Orange is coming off a bye week after losing at Georgia Tech 56-0 on Oct. 19.

- Wake Forest returns home to host No. 3 Florida State next Saturday.
- The game will be shown on either ABC or ESPN and the time will be announced on Nov. 3.
