Deacs Set to Play at NC State

Wake Forest Travels on Tuesday to Play NC State
Wake Forest will play its second of three straight conference games on Tuesday night when it travels to play NC State at Dial Soccer Stadium at 7 p.m.
The Deacs will be looking for their 400th win in program history.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest shut out Virginia Tech at home 3-0 on Friday night at Spry Stadium.
Freshman Jacori Hayes earned his first-career points, picking up both a goal and an assist in the win. Hayes scored the Deacs' second goal and assists on Sean Okoli's goal that capped the scoring.
Jared Watts scored Wake Forest's first goal of the game in just the 7th minute, flicking home a free kick from Ian Harkes.
Andrew Harris made his third start of the season and picked up his second shutout of the year by making two first-half saves.
NC State Notes
NC State is 1-3-2 in its last six contests after opening up the season with three-consecutive victories.
Nick Surkamp (4) and Clement Simonin (3) are the only two players on the Wolfpack roster with more than one goal on the season. Simonin also has a pair of assists, while Alex Martinez holds the team lead in assists with four.
Fabian Otte has started eight of the nine games in goal and has 29 saves with a 1.42 goals against average. He is 4-3-1 on the year.
Series History
Wake Forest has had the upper hand the majority of the time, owning a 23-11-3 all-time record against NC State.
The Demon Deacons have won the last two matchups and are unbeaten against the Wolfpack in the last eight meetings. NC State last won in Raleigh 2-1 on Oct. 20, 2005.
That win in 2005 is the only NC State victory in the last 21 meetings. Wake Forest is 19-1-1 against the Wolfpack during that stretch, dating back to Oct. 8, 1995.
Next Up...
The Demon Deacons will return home to host Clemson on Friday at 7 p.m.
Wake Forest will then travel to Akron and Maryland next week to play a pair of Top 25 teams.
