Wake Forest Welcomes Navy in NCAA Second Round
• Wake Forest earned the No. 14 seed in the 2013 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship and will host Navy in the Second Round on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
• The Midshipmen took down VCU 3-0 in Richmond, Va., on Thursday night in the First Round to earn the right to play the Demon Deacons.

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest has not played since November 12 when Virginia defeated the Demon Deacons 1-0 in overtime of the ACC Championship quarterfinals.
• The Deacs controlled the vast majority of possession throughout regulation and created the bulk of the chances. The Cavaliers earned the game winner in the 94th minute on a penalty kick, which was their only shot on goal all game.
• Wake Forest outshot Virginia 12-8 for the game, including a 12-6 margin in the 90 minutes of regulation.

Wake Forest Notes
• For Wake Forest, Luca Gimenez and Sean Okoli lead the way with eight goals apiece. Gimenez also has four assists and has a team-best 20 points.
• Freshman Ian Harkes has done a great job in the midfield in his first season and leads all Demon Deacons with seven assists. He is also the only Deac who has started every game this year.
Philip Parker is second on the team with five assists.
Alec Ferrell and Andrew Harris have split time in goal throughout the season. Ferrell has started 10 games and has a 1.12 goals against average with 38 saves and two shutouts. Harris has started nine games has a 0.95 goals against average with 24 saves and three shutouts.

Navy Notes
• Navy is perhaps one of the hottest teams in the nation with a 15-game winning streak and a four-game shutout streak. The team's last loss came on Sept. 17 in double overtime against UMBC by a score of 3-2.
• The Midshipmen are led offensively by Jamie Dubyoski and Joseph Greenspan who have nine and seven goals, respectively.
• Martin Sanchez has been the main distributor with a team-best 10 assists.
• Navy has 11 shutouts on the season, while Gavin Snyder has had a hand in each one. He has played in 15 games and has made 14 starts with an impressive 0.26 goals against average and 57 saves.
• Wake Forest will be the first NSCAA ranked team that Navy has played all season.

Series History
• This will mark the first-ever meeting between Wake Forest and Navy.

• The winner of Sunday's game will move on the Third Round of the NCAA Championship and will face either No. 3-seed Notre Dame or Wisconsin next Sunday.
