Head Coach Jim Grobe

On Saturday's game with Vanderbilt...
"It is another opportunity to play and that's what I told the guys in the locker room Saturday was that we're not very happy that we lost the game, but the good news is that there's another chance. I think having another opportunity to play football should be important to them."

On Vanderbilt...
"Offensively the Matthews kid has broken all the SEC receiving records - great player. They've got really good talent at every position offensively, but (Matthews) is the big-play guy for them and the real difference maker and they've got a lot of other good players. Defensively, they're just a tough, physical, defensive football team. That's been the thing we've noticed the past couple of years, they've been a very physical football team. Good special teams and all those kinds of things that make teams win."

On the Wake Forest seniors playing in their final collegiate game...
"I think the thing that stands out with most of our seniors is that they've kind of maxed out what they can do. We may see a couple of guys that could have played better or could of had better careers, but most of these guys in the senior class really tried every year to be the best they could be and that's what you feel good about. I think these guys are a pretty close group and they care about each other and they've just tried as much as possible to be the best players they can be in our program."

On coaching the seniors in one final game...
"You've got such a mix of old and young players. On one hand, it's discouraging to see the seniors go, but you know you've got so many young kids that you're looking forward to coaching. We'll certainly miss a lot of these guys in the senior class, but I think at the same time we're looking forward to a fresh start with the younger guys."

Senior Quarterback Tanner Price

On his last home game as a Demon Deacon against Duke...
"It's a bummer. Obviously, with your last game you want to go out with a win, but I think everybody played really hard and all the seniors left it all out there. It was disappointing to come up short."

On what it will be like to put on his jersey for the last time this Saturday...
"It seems like it's flown by. It seems like just last year I was a freshman. It's going to be weird pulling that Wake Forest jersey over the shoulder pads for the last time, and it's going to be a different experience."

On his fondest memories at Wake Forest...
"There have been a number of good memories. Sophomore year was a great year and a lot of good memories from that - beating Florida State at home. Then last year, beating North Carolina at home was really great. (There have been) a couple of good memories this year with Maryland and NC State."

On Vanderbilt...
"Their defense loves to blitz a lot, so we're going to have to be ready for that and be ready to pick up that."

Senior Defensive End Kristopher Redding

On the Vanderbilt game being the last game for the seniors...
"It's the last hurrah for 14 of us. We want to go out with a bang obviously. We wanted to do that at home Saturday in our last game at BB&T, but got another chance Saturday. We're looking to do some good things."

On what the team has to play for this weekend...
"It's still our name. Obviously, the seniors won't be here next year, but Wake Forest is always going to be here. We always have something to play for - the name of our school, the name of our program, the names of our players our coaches. People may say there is nothing on the line, but there is always something on the line."
