Deacs Wrap Up Regular Season against Syracuse
No. 13 Wake Forest will play its final regular season game of the year on Friday night when Syracuse comes to town at 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
The Demon Deacons can mathematically finish anywhere between first and fifth in the ACC depending on their result as well as the other results around the conference on Friday night.

Live stats and a live stream of the game will be available on WakeForestSports.com. Ty Collins will have the call.
In addition, live updates of the game can be found by following the team on Twitter (@WakeMSoccer).
Last Time Out
No. 2 Notre Dame handed Wake Forest its first loss in the ACC, defeating the Demon Deacons 3-1 last Saturday.
The Fighting Irish got on the board first in the 36th minute, but Luca Gimenez answered in the 40th minute by converting a penalty kick.
Notre Dame took a 2-1 lead, though, just 40 seconds after Gimenez's goal and added another score in the 68th minute for the win.
The Deacs had been unbeaten in their 12 previous ACC regular season games (8-0-4) and had posted a record of 11-1-8 in their previous 20 ACC regular season games before the loss to the Irish.
Syracuse Notes
Syracuse was perfect in its non-conference schedule, posting a 7-0-0 record against teams outside the ACC.
The Orange are battling for a spot in the ACC Championship tournament, as they currently sit in ninth place with 10 points, just one point behind Duke for the eighth and final spot.
Emil Ekblom leads the team with nine goals and 21 points. He and Alex Halis (6 goals, 13 points) are the only two Syracuse players with double-digit points on the year.
Alex Bono has played every minute in goal, recording eight shutouts and posting a 0.86 goals against average.
Series History
Friday will mark just the second all-time meeting between Wake Forest and Syracuse.
The only other meeting between the schools was on Sept. 4, 1993, with the Demon Deacons prevailing at home 4-0. The 1993 season was just one year before Jay Vidovich took over as Wake Forest's head coach.
Next Up...
Wake Forest has clinched a spot in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday. The location and opponent will be decided after Tuesday's games.
