Whitlock Continues to Move up in the Record Book
• Senior nose guard Nikita Whitlock has recorded a tackle for loss in eight of the nine games this season.
• He finished the day with 1.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss. He now has 18.0 sacks, which is fourth all-time in Wake Forest history. His 2.5 TFLs on the day give him 46.5 for his career. moving him past Aaron Curry (45.5 TFL) and Mike McCrary (46.0 TFL) for second on Wake Forest's all-time list. Only Calvin Pace had more, recording 54.0 TFLs from 1999-02.

Other Deacon Defensive Notables
Ryan Janvion intercepted his first-career pass in the third quarter, picking off Jameis Winston. He also ended the game tied for the team lead with Anthony Wooding, Jr., as both players had nine.
Merrill Noel notched his first-career fumble recovery and third-career forced fumble when he stripped Christian Green of the football.
Josh Banks had his first-career forced fumble, although the Seminoles recovered the ball.

Wake Forest Notes on Offense
Tyler Cameron took over for Tanner Price in the second quarter, making his third appearance of the season (vs. Presbyterian and at Clemson). He went 5-for-19 for 63 yards.
Josh Harris put together his second-best rushing performance of the season, carrying the ball 15 times for 66 yards. His highest rushing total came at Army (97 yards).
