GREENSBORO, N.C. - Four Wake Forest players have earned All-ACC honors as announced Monday by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA).

Senior nose guard Nikita Whitlock was named to the first team defense, making Whitlock just the seventh Demon Deacon to earn first or second team All-ACC honors three times.

Senior wide receiver Michael Campanaro earned second team honors for the second-straight season while corner back Kevin Johnson and safety Ryan Janvion each took home honorable mention honors.

Whitlock had a tremendous senior season, finishing with 82 tackles, including nine sacks and 19 tackles for loss. His 19 tackles for loss are tied for the eighth-most nationally. Whitlock also had three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and blocked the first two kicks of his career. The Wylie, Texas native joins Chris Barclay, Bob Bartholomew, Norman Sneed, James McDougald, John Henry Mills and Ryan Plackemeier as the only Deacons to earn All-ACC honors three times.

Despite playing in just eight games, Campanaro was one of the top receivers in the conference. He hauled in 67 passes for 803 yards and six touchdowns. He broke Desmond Clark's school-record for career receptions this season and finished his career with 229 career grabs. He was also third in career receiving yards with 2,506.

For Johnson, this is his second honorable mention honor as he also garnered the distinction last season in the coaches poll. Johnson started the season with a bang, notching interceptions in each of the first two contests. He finished with three on the season and six for his career. He also had 58 tackles on the season and broke-up a total of 12 passes.

Janvion, a redshirt-freshman, made an impact in his first season on the field. He led the team from his safety position with 95 tackles which including 2.5 for a loss. The Pembroke Pines, Fla., native also had one interception and one fumble recovery on the season. Playing in front of friends and family at Miami on Oct. 26, Janvion made 14 tackles which were the second-most tackles by a Demon Deacon in a game this season.
