WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest's 16-game ACC schedule in 2013-14 will feature a home and away series with NC State and Miami and one meeting with the rest of the league as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
The format for the regular-season is a 16-game schedule, with each team hosting six opponents at home, playing six opponents on the road and playing two opponents home and away.
Outside of the home and away series with NC State and Miami, the Deacons will host Florida State, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Syracuse and Notre Dame. They will travel to Georgia Tech, Clemson, Duke, Maryland, Pittsburgh and Boston College.
Next season will mark the entrance of Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and Syracuse to the conference. The Demon Deacons will host Syracuse in the first-ever game between the two schools.
Wake Forest has faced Notre Dame and Pittsburgh one time previously. In 1998, the Deacons fell 53-46 to Pittsburgh at the Oakland Tribune Classic in Oakland, Calif. Wake also fell to Notre Dame in its only meeting 92-69 at the WBCA Classic in South Bend.
The Deacons return six letterwinners and two starts, including All-ACC honoree Chelsea Douglas (14.6 ppg, 3.5 apg) and forward Dearica Hamby (10.6 ppg, 6.2 rpg).
