Wake Forest Announces Dean's Cup Winners

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -The Wake Forest athletic department announced the winners of the annual Dean's Cup award, honoring the top men's and women's teams who have the highest GPA's.
Men's and women's golf won the Dean's Cup for the overall year. It's the third time that men's golf has been crowned the winner of the award while women's golf has won four consecutive years.
"Congratulations to our Dean's Cup winners for 2012-2013," said Associate Athletic Director for Student Athlete Services, Jane Caldwell. "Wake Forest athletics has a reputation of high academic standards for its student-athletes. Both teams excelled in the classroom and each had overall cumulative GPA's greater than 3.0."
Men's cross country had the highest men's team GPA in the spring of 2013.
