WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Brad Franks has been named an assistant coach at High Point University, where he served as a volunteer assistant during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
Franks joined Wake Forest in the offseason as a volunteer assistant coach before being named an assistant coach for the Panthers.
"I want to thanks Coach (Jay) Vidovich and the Wake Forest family for the opportunity to be a part of and learn from one of the top programs in the country. Although I was only at Wake Forest a short time, I felt as if the experience was invaluable in my development as a young coach," said Franks. "At the end of the day, I could not pass up the opportunity Coach (Dustin) Fonder offered at High Point with a program and a university I am very familiar with."
Franks' older brother, Jamie, played for Wake Forest from 2005-08 and also was a volunteer assistant for the Demon Deacons during the 2011 season before accepting an assistant coaching position at the University of Denver.
