Wake Forest to Face Campbell in Exhibition Friday

The exhibition is being held in conjunction with the Twin City Soccer Classic youth tournament that is also taking place at BB&T Soccer Park.
The Demon Deacons return eight starters from last year's team that finished in a tie for second place in the ACC standings. Headlining the returnees are senior co-captains Aubrey Bledsoe and Katie Stengel, both All-Americans last season.
In the last meeting between Wake Forest and Campbell during the 2011 regular season, Stengel scored all three goals in a 3-0 victory to notch only the eighth hat trick in program history. No Deacon has recorded a hat trick since that game.
Wake Forest will open the regular season on Aug. 23 when it hosts Kentucky at 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
