- For the first time since 1999, Wake Forest will be making a trip West Point, N.Y. to take on the Army Black Knights.
- The game is scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. kickoff from Michie Stadium and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. It can also be heard on the Wake Forest Sports Network and online at WakeForestSports.com.
Last time Out
- A late Demon Deacon rally fell a two-point conversion short as ULM held on for a 21-19 victory last Saturday.
- The Demon Deacons drove 97 yards in less than two minutes without a timeout to make the score 21-19 but the tying two-point conversion pass fell incomplete.
- Senior Michael Campanaro had himself a day, catching an ACC-record tying 16 passes for a career-high 177 yards.
- Junior wide receiver Orville Reynolds caught three passes for a career-best 101 yards including the first two touchdown catches of his career.
- ULM's Kolton Browning completed 43 of 68 passes on the day, both Wake Forest opponent records. He finished with 315 yards and three touchdowns.
- Defensively, the Deacs intercepted Browning two times and senior Mike Olson led the squad with 12 tackles and a blocked field goal.
Wake Forest Storylines
- Senior flanker Michael Campanaro is coming off one of the best games of his career as he tied an ACC record with 16 catches for a career-best 177 yards. He is now the only player in ACC history with two games of 16 receptions.
- Head coach Jim Grobe is just three wins shy of tying "Peahead" Walker for the school record of 77 career victories.
The Opposition & Series History
- Wake Forest and Army are meeting for the 13th time.
- The Demon Deacons have won six-straight in the series including a 34-15 victory in their last trip to West Point in 1999.
- The Black Knights opened the season with a win over Morgan State but have since dropped back-to-back games to Ball State and Stanford.
- Army is averaging 314 rushing yards per game which is the seventh-best average in the country.
Next Up...
- Wake Forest will get back to ACC action next Saturday when it heads to Clemson, S.C. to take on No. 3/4 Clemson.
- The Tigers have won the last four games in the series.
- The Deacons fell 31-28 on a last second field goal in their last trip to Memorial Stadium in 2011.
