This will mark the first-ever meeting between the Demon Deacons and the Panthers.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest fell to Elon 1-0 after the Phoenix got the only goal of the game just 29 seconds into the second half.
The Demon Deacons doubled Elon in shots (12-6). Sean Okoli had four shots, while Andy Lubahn tallied three shots. Both Lubahn and Luca Gimenez each had two shots on goal.
Gimenez also had the best chance at equalizing in the 85th minute. His free kick from just outside the top of the box was heading for the upper right corner, but Elon's keeper made a huge diving save to keep the Deacs off the board.
Pitt Notes
Pitt will be looking for its first win of the season against Wake Forest on Saturday night.
The Panthers have lost consecutive games, both to ACC opponents (NC State & Boston College), after tying their first two games of the season.
Ryan Myers, Chu Chu Onyeukwu and Zane Meehan have each scored a goal so far this year. Myers and Nick Wysong have the only two Panther assists.
In goal, Dan Lynd has played all 403 minutes. He has made 21 saves, has recorded one shutout and has posted a 1.12 goals against average.
Series History
Wake Forest and Pitt have never met in men's soccer, as the Panthers are in their first season as members of the ACC.
