- Wake Forest will conclude its two-game road trip when it heads to Clemson, S.C., to take on the Clemson Tigers.
- Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from LittleJohn Coliseum.
- The game will be televised on the Regional Sports Networks. Tom Werme (play-by-play) and Debbie Antonelli (analyst) will have the call.
Last Time Out
- Georgia Tech used a 20-5 run to seize control of the game and down Wake Forest 79-63 on Thursday evening at the McCamish Pavilion.
- The Deacs used a 6-0 run to tie the game at 21-21 with 6:16 left in the first half but Tech stepped-up the defensive pressure and went on a 20-5 run to swing the momentum.
- The Yellow Jackets forced Wake Forest into a season-high 29 turnovers on the night and scored 32 points off of those miscues.
- Junior Dearica Hamby, playing in front of her hometown crowd, recorded her 13th double-double of the season with 23 points and 13 rebounds. She also tied a season-high five assists
- Chelsea Douglas went 8-of-9 from the free throw line and finished with 15 points.
- Freshman Jill Brunori had a second-straight solid game with eight points and six rebounds. Junior Millesa Calicott provided a spark off the bench and finished with eight points and three assists.
Wake Forest Storylines
- Dearica Hamby has notched a total of 13 double-doubles this season. She was named to the All-Tournament Team at both the Nugget Classic and the FIU Sun & Fun Classic and currently leads the ACC in scoring at 20.6 points per game.
- Senior Chelsea Douglas is 60 points away from moving into the top-5 in school history in career scoring. She has 1,447 career points and is also second in school-history with 224 career three-point field goals.
The Opposition
- Clemson enters the contest with an even 9-9 record and a 1-3 mark in the ACC after falling at North Carolina last Thursday, 78-55.
- The Tigers are led by last week's ACC Player of the Week Nikki Dixon, who is averaging 12.9 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per contest.
- CU's one conference victory came over new ACC member Pittsburgh on Jan. 12. Dixon had 29 points in that game.
Series History
- The Deacs and Tigers will be meeting for the 67th time Monday night.
- Clemson holds a 49-17 edge in the series but the Deacons have won three of the last four meetings.
- The Tigers won the lone meeting last season, 64-54 in Winston-Salem.
Next Up...
- The Deacons return home to host North Carolina on Thursday, Jan. 23.
- North Carolina has won 10-straight games in the series dating back to the 2004 season.
