Last Time Out

Wake Forest picked-up its first ACC victory of the season with a gritty performance in a 68-61 win at Clemson on Monday evening.
Junior Dearica Hamby scored 29 points and grabbed a career-high tying 18 rebounds to go along with a career-high four blocks.
Sophomore Kandice Ball scored just two points but had a career-high 12 rebounds to go with a career-high six blocked shots.
Wake Forest blocked a school-record 12 shots in the game.
Freshman Ataijah Taylor dished-out a season-high six assists and had seven points.
Jill Brunori scored eight points, grabbed four rebounds and dished-out two assists.

Wake Forest Storylines

Wake Forest is one win shy of its 500th in program history. The Demon Deacons hold an all-time record of 499-635 (.440).
Dearica Hamby has notched a total of 14 double-doubles this season. She was named to the All-Tournament Team at both the Nugget Classic and the FIU Sun & Fun Classic and currently leads the ACC in scoring (21.1) and rebounding (11.2).
Senior Chelsea Douglas is 42 points away from moving into the top-5 in school history in career scoring. She has 1,465 career points and is also second in school-history with 226 career three-point field goals.

The Opposition

North Carolina enters the game with a 16-3 record overall and a 4-1 mark in the conference.
The Tar Heels have won four-straight since opening the ACC portion of the schedule with a loss to Maryland.
Freshman Diamond DeShields leads the team with 16.1 points per game and 34 steals on the season.
