WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest freshmen Ian Harkes and Jacori Hayes were named to the United States Under-20 National Team roster for the team's January training camp, head coach Tab Ramos announced Friday.
Harkes and Hayes are part of the group of 36 players who will train from Jan. 3-12 in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. in the second camp of the current U-20 cycle.
Both midfielders, Harkes and Hayes played prominent roles on the Wake Forest squad during their rookie seasons.
Harkes was the only player to start every game for the Demon Deacons and earned Freshman All-ACC and All-America honors after leading the Deacons with seven assists. Hayes played in 18 games, scoring a goal and adding an assist.
