Men's Golf Leads Weather-Delayed Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. - The Wake Forest men's golf team held a one-stroke lead over host East Tennessee State University when the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate was suspended due to weather on Friday afternoon.

The Demon Deacons are 7-under par through the first 10 holes. Will Zalatoris is sitting at 4-under through 13 holes and is the current tournament leader. Danny Guise is tied for fourth at 2-under through 12. Paul McBride has completed 13 holes at 1-under while Tanner Owen completed the first 12 holes at even par and Davis Womble is even through 11.

East Tennessee State is in second place at 6-under while NC State is third at 4-under.

Play was suspended at 1:50 pm on Friday. The 54-hole tournament is scheduled to resume play at 8:45 am Saturday morning with the second round commencing immediately following the conclusion of round one.
