Wake Forest takes on Charlotte at Cancun Challenge >>
• Wake Forest travels to Cancun, Mexico for the Cancun Challenge at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya.
• The Demon Deacons will play in the Mayan Tournament portion which also features Princeton, Charlotte and Montana.
• Wake Forest opened the tournament with a loss to Princeton while Charlotte started with a loss to Montana.

• Wake Forest suffered its first loss of the season, 72-55, to Princeton in the first game of the Cancun Challenge.
• The Deacons trailed by 17 at halftime. Twice in the second half Wake Forest cut the lead to single digits but couldn't overcome the slow start.
• Sophomore Mykia Jones and freshman Taylor Gordon tied for the team lead with 13 points. Freshman Amber Campbell added 10 points.
• The Wake Forest bench contributed 21 points.
