- Wake Forest heads to Miami this Sunday to take on the Hurricanes in what is a key game for both teams in regards to ACC Tournament seeding.
- The game is set to tip-off at 1 p.m. from the BankUnited Center.
- Fans can watch the game on their local RSN. Mike Hogewood (play-by-play) and Debbie Antonelli (analyst) will have the call.
Last Time Out
- Behind 29 points from leading scorer Jewell Loyd, No. 2 Notre Dame downed Wake Forest 86-61 at the LJVM Coliseum Thursday evening.
- Junior Dearica Hamby led the Demon Deacons with 26 points and was just two rebounds shy of her 20th double-double of the season. She also blocked three shots.
- Freshman Jill Brunori scored 10 points and pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds for the first double-double of her career.
- Starting in place of senior Chelsea Douglas, who missed her third-straight game due to a foot injury, Mykia Jones made a pair of three-pointers and finished with seven points and three rebounds.
- Neither team shot the ball well on the night but the difference was Wake Forest's 22 turnovers to just 10 for the Irish.
Wake Forest Storylines
- Dearica Hamby has notched a total of 19 double-doubles this season. She is one double-double away from tying Tracy Connor's school-record of 20. Hamby became the 23rd Demon Deacon to score 1,000 career points in the win over Virginia Tech on Feb. 13, and she currently leads the ACC in scoring (21.7) and rebounding (10.9).
The Opposition
- Miami enters the game with a records of 13-13 overall after having dropped three of the last four contests. The Hurricanes are 5-8 in the ACC.
- Caprice Dennis has come on as of late and leads the team in scoring at 11.5 points per contest.
- Adrienne Motley is averaging 10.7 ppg and has dished-out a team-high 66 assists.
- The Hurricanes play a pressure style of defense and force their opponents into nearly 18 turnovers per game.
Series History
- After Miami's victory earlier this season, the series between the two teams is deadlocked at 7-7.
- The Hurricanes have won four of the last five meetings with the lone Deacon win coming in the 2012 ACC Tournament when Wake knocked-off No. 7 Miami 81-74. That is still tied for the highest-ranked team Wake Forest has ever beaten.

- The road doesn't get any easier for the Deacs who head to No. 7/7 Duke on Thursday, Feb. 27.
