- Wake Forest will close out the regular season with its first-ever meeting with Syracuse on Senior Day at the LJVM Coliseum.
- The game is set to tip-off at 2:00 p.m.

Last Time Out
- Wake Forest gave No. 7 Duke all it could handle on Thursday night but a strong push over the final two minutes by the Blue Devils led to a 71-56 victory.
- Behind 20 points from junior Dearica Hamby and 19 points from senior Chelsea Douglas, Wake Forest was within five, 61-56, with two minutes to play. A key three-pointer by Duke senior Tricia Liston with 1:40 to play sparked a 13-0 run down the stretch that sealed the victory for Duke.
- That was Hamby's 19th game this season in which she has scored 20 points. She also led the team with nine rebounds and a three assists.
- Douglas knocked-down five three-pointers and dished-out a pair of assists.
- Freshman Jill Brunori also had a very good night for the Deacs, finishing with eight points and eight rebounds but was saddled with foul trouble in the second half.
Wake Forest Storylines
- Dearica Hamby has tied Tracy Connor's school-record of 20 double-doubles in a single-season. Earlier this season, she became the 23rd Demon Deacon to score 1,000 career points and currently has 607 points this season, which is also a school-record. Hamby currently leads the ACC in scoring (21.7) and rebounding (10.9).
- Sunday is Senior Day and the Deacons will recognize Chelsea Douglas and Lindsy Wright before the game.
The Opposition
- Syracuse enters with a record of 20-8 overall and is 9-6 through the first 15 games if its initial ACC season.
- The Orange has won three in a row by an average of 25.3 points per game.
- Brittany Sykes leads the team in scoring at 17.3 points per game and is shooting better than 52 percent from the floor.
- Brianna Butler has made an ACC-best 88 three-pointers this season and is second on the team in scoring at 14.9 ppg.
- The Orange has used the same starting lineup for all but one game this season.
- Syracuse leads the league in turnover margin at +5.2 and is making the third-most three-pointers per game at 7.5.
