WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest will host its annual Spring Football Game on Saturday, April 26, at 2 p.m. This year, the Demon Deacons will be split into a Black Team and a Gold Team, and the squads will compete in a simulated game.
The teams will play four quarters with a running clock after halftime.
Fans are invited to come out and watch the Demon Deacons in action and enjoy activities around the stadium, including kids' inflatables, face painting and giveaways.
Admission and parking are free. The activities outside the stadium begin at noon with the gates to BB&T Field opening at 12:30 p.m.
Demon Deacon players and coaches will be available to sign autographs for fans after the game on the field.
Additionally, anyone attending the football Spring Game will receive a voucher for free admission to the Wake Forest baseball game against Duke scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m. Saturday is "Bark in the Park" at Wake Forest Baseball Park as fans are invited to bring their four-legged friends to the game.
2014 Spring Game Timeline
12:00 p.m. - Inflatables, face-painting and kids' activities begin outside Gate 1 of Deacon Tower
12:30 p.m. - Gates to BB&T Field open
1:00 p.m. - The Demon Deacons take the field for warm-ups
2:00 p.m. - The Demon Deacons open the gate to take the field
2:04 p.m. - Opening kickoff
Approx. 5:00 p.m. - Postgame autographs on the field
4:00 p.m. - First pitch for Wake Forest baseball vs. Duke
