WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - It is not too often that a group of over 200 women are seen back-pedaling, stutter-stepping and driving their bodies into blocking pads during offensive line drills at BB&T Field, but this summer women of all ages will have the opportunity to take the field and experience Wake Forest Football first-hand.
Coach Dave Clawson and his staff cordially invite women from all over the Triad to join them for the 17th Annual Women's Football Camp, presented by Sundance and Clarion Hotel, on Thursday, July 24, beginning at 6 p.m. at Bridger Field House at BB&T Field.
Whether you are a die-hard football fan or just want to learn more about the fundamentals of the game, the Women's Football Camp promises to be a memorable evening of fun and learning for everyone.
The 2014 Women's Football Camp includes:
- Mix & mingle with other Demon Deacon ladies, including the wives of our new coaching staff
- Special welcome from new head football coach, Dave Clawson
- Fashion show
- Instruction on the basic rules and strategies of football
- On-field drills led by the Wake Forest football coaching staff
- Wake Forest gift bag with official camp t-shirt
- Door prizes
- Light hors d'oeuvres served at the conclusion of camp
- Cash bar with one (1) complimentary drink voucher
