Womble Named Academic All-ACC For Second-Straight Season

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Wake Forest rising-junior Davis Womble has been named to the men's golf Academic All-ACC team for the second-straight season.
Womble played in 11 events this season and finished with a scoring average of 74.52. He six rounds at par or better and over two-thirds of his rounds counted towards the team score this season.
To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic team, a student-athlete, regardless of classification, must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
