WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Members of the Wake Forest football team took to the Winston-Salem community Saturday morning and helped with Habitat for Humanity.
The players joined Habitat for Humanity volunteers in building a fence for a local family. Players had to dig holes, plant the posts, cement the posts in the ground and then help fasten the fencing to the posts. They spent almost four hours Saturday morning building the fence.
Last weekend, another group of players helped clear and make a road in a neighboring community. The majority of the team is enrolled in summer school and is working out in preparation for the start of fall camp which is August 1.
