Dave Clawson Participates In ACC Football Kickoff

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson participated in his first ACC Football Kickoff on Monday at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro.
He spoke with members of the media about all things Wake Forest football. Questions ranged from who will be the starting quarterback, to his transition to the BCS level and to the strengths and weaknesses of the program. Clawson spent over six hours on Monday with the media.
The ACC predicted order of finish was also released on Monday. Defending NCAA Champion Florida State was the near unanimous choice to win the Atlantic division, receiving 109 of the 112 first-place votes. Wake Forest was picked seventh and received 136 points.
The Coastal Division wasn't nearly as clear. Six of the seven teams received at least one first-place vote. Miami received 26 first-place votes and was picked to win the division with 614 points. Duke was picked second with 597 points but received the most first-place votes with 33.
Florida State's Jameis Winston was tabbed the Preseason ACC Player of the Year, receiving 99 of the 112 votes.
