Deacons Set First Week Camp Schedule

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest head football coach Dave Clawson has announced the practice schedule for the first week of the Demon Deacons' preseason football camp.
The first practice of the season will take place on Friday, August 1 from 6 am until 8:30 am at the Doc Martin Football Practice Complex. With the student-athletes still attending the second summer session, the Deacons will continue with morning practices through the first week of camp.
The team will practice at 6:50 am on Saturday and at noon on Sunday before going at 6 am Monday through Thursday (August 4-7) of next week.
The first two days of practice, the Deacons will be in jerseys, shorts and helmets before moving to shells for the next two practices. The team will wear full gear starting with Tuesday morning's practice.
Practices are open to the public and all practices in the first week are scheduled for the Doc Martin Football Practice Complex.
Wake Forest opens the 2014 season on Thursday, August 28 at ULM.
