ACC Announces Fall Olympic Sport Broadcast Schedule

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced broadcast coverage for its Olympic sports during the upcoming fall, as Wake Forest teams are scheduled to be televised at least eight times.
The Demon Deacons' men's soccer team will be televised three times, women's soccer and field hockey will be televised two times apiece, while the volleyball team will be televised once.
In addition, the ACC Championship semifinal and title games will be broadcast for men's and women's soccer and field hockey. The semifinals for both men's and women's soccer will be on ESPN3, while the title games will be featured on ESPNU. The field hockey semifinals and finals will all be broadcast on ESPN3.
There are two events featuring the Deacs in September. Men's soccer will be on both times making appearances on September 19 when they travel to Virginia Tech at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN3, and September 26 as they make a trip down to Clemson for a match at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.
October will feature six Wake Forest events, beginning with two contests on October 9 featuring the field hockey and women's soccer teams each facing North Carolina. The field hockey team will be making the Deacs only home broadcast of the regular season as they host the Tar Heels at Kentner Stadium at 5 p.m. on regional sports network (RSN) and ESPN3. The women soccer team's contest will be at North Carolina on ESPN3 at 7 p.m. The women's soccer team will also be televised on October 12 at Duke at 3 p.m. on RSN.
The Wake Forest field hockey team makes their second appearance against North Carolina on October 25, traveling to Chapel Hill, N.C. for a 1 p.m. match on ESPN3. Men's soccer's final televised regular season match will be on the road at Virginia on October 24 at 6:30 p.m. on RSN and ESPN3. The volleyball team will then wrap up the Olympic broadcast schedule for Wake Forest on October 31 for a Halloween match at Duke at 6:30 p.m. (ESPN3).
The RSN family of networks includes FOX Sports Carolinas, FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Florida, FOX Sports Indiana, Sun Sports, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, NESN, YES, ROOT SPORTS and MSG.
