Wake Forest Hosts Gardner-Webb in Exhibition >>
• Wake Forest will hold its first exhibition game of the 2014 season on Monday as the Demon Deacons will host Gardner-Webb at Spry Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free to the public.
2013 Review >>
• Wake Forest finished the 2013 season with a 10-6-5 overall record including a 6-1-4 mark in the ACC.
• The Demon Deacons lost just one game in conference for the second season in a row.
• Wake Forest made it to the third round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to Notre Dame, the eventual national champion.

• Wake Forest returns several key players from last year including senior Sam Fink, junior Michael Gamble and sophomores Jacori Hayes and Ian Harkes.
• Sean Okoli, the leading scorer from 2013 is now with the Seattle Sounders of the MLS. Jared Watts, a senior last season, is a regular starter for the Colorado Rapids while Chris Duvall is a starter for the New York Red Bulls.
• Harkes led the team in assists last season with seven. Harkes and Hayes were named to the All-ACC Freshman team last season.
• Hayes and Harkes spent time this year with the United States Under-20 team while Hayes played with the USMNT U-20 team in the NTC Invitational in July.
• The Demon Deacons return Alec Ferrell and Andrew Harris who split time in goal last season.
• Wake Forest is ranked No. 11 in the preseason NSCAA poll.
• The Deacs will host three top-10 opponents to open the regular season, UCLA (No. 4), Cal (No. 7) and UConn (No. 8).
