Wake Forest Opens ACC Play Against NC State>>
• No. 18 Wake Forest will open ACC play this Friday when the Demon Deacons host the Wolfpack of NC State at Spry Stadium.

• Michael Gamble and Jacori Hayes each had a goal and an assist on Sunday as Wake Forest defeated Cleveland State 4-1 at Spry Stadium.
• Hank Gauger and Ricky Greensfelder also had goals for Wake Forest (2-2-0) while the Demon Deacon defense limited Cleveland State (2-2-0) to just four total shots.
• After leading 1-0 at halftime, Wake Forest scored three second half goals. After leading 2-0, Cleveland State narrowed the lead with a goal in the 66th minute but the Deacs score two goals in the final 10 minutes en route to the victory.

• Junior forward Michael Gamble was named the ACC Player of the Week after tallying two assists in the win over No. 18 UConn and a goal and an assist in the win over Cleveland State.
• After scoring just two goals in the opening weekend, Wake Forest recorded six goals in two games including a four-goal outburst against visiting Cleveland State.
• Ricky Greensfelder and Hank Gauger have each scored two goals on the season to lead Wake Forest. Greensfelder's two goals came last weekend with one in each game.

• Wake Forest leads NC State 23-11-4 in the all-time series that dates back to 1980. • The Demon Deacons lead the series 12-4-1 at Spry Stadium.
• Wake Forest has not lost to the Wolfpack since Oct. 30, 2005 and has lost three times total to NC State since 1993.
