- Wake Forest returns home to host Army, seeking its eighth-straight victory over the Black Knights.
- Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and will be shown on ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN app. The game can also be heard on the Wake Forest Sports Network and online at WakeForestSports.com
Last Time Out
- Wake Forest trimmed a 29-7 halftime deficit down to eight points but Utah State's defense stiffened in crunch time as the Demon Deacons fell 36-24 last Saturday in Logan, Utah.
- Tight end Cam Serigne caught a career-high seven passes for 91 yards to lead the receiving corps.
- Grad student E.J. Scott had five receptions including a 10-yard touchdown grab, his third of the season.
- Defensively, sophomore safety Ryan Janvion made a career-high 18 tackles to go along with one pass breakup.
- Defensive tackle Josh Banks hauled-in an arrent pass and scampered 70 yards for his first-career touchdown, giving the Deacons an early 7-0 lead.
Wake Forest Storylines
- True-freshman John Wolford completed 30-of-38 passes in the win over Gardner-Webb on Sept. 6. The 78.9 completion percentage was the highest by a freshman QB at Wake Forest with at least 20 attempts.
- Place kicker Mike Weaver has made the first five field goal attempts of his career. The school-record is six by Tracy Lounsbury in 1969.
- The Demon Deacons have 28 freshmen or sophomores in their two-deep. That is tied for the fourth-most in the country this season.
- Wake Forest is 37-43-2 in its annual homecoming game.
The Opposition & Series History
- Saturday's game will be the 15th meeting between Wake Forest and Army on the football field.
- The Deacons lead the series 9-4 and have won the last seven meetings, including each of the last two seasons.
- Army comes into the game with a 1-1 record after opening the year with a win at home over Buffalo and a loss last week at Stanford.

- Wake Forest opens ACC play with a very tough two-game road trip.
- Next Saturday, the Deacs will be at Louisville for just their second meeting with the Cardinals.
