Wake Forest Hosts Wisconsin in Big Ten/ACC Challenge
• Wake Forest returns home to host Wisconsin in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.
• The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
Wake Forest Storylines
• Wake Forest is receiving votes in this week's USA TODAY Sports women's basketball coaches poll. The Demon Deacons earned five votes.
• The win at American was Wake Forest's first true road win since Feb. 9, 2014, a 74-70, win at Pitt. The Deacs have five neutral site wins in that stretch.
• For the second-consecutive season the Deacons finished the month of November with just one loss. Last year, Wake Forest went 6-1 in the first month of the season.
• Eight Demon Deacons have seen action in the first six games of the season. Four of the players are new to the program in freshmen Ariel Stephenson, Kortni Simmons and Destini Walker along with graduate transfer Keyonna Allen.
• Milan Quinn has tallied double-doubles in three of the first six games this season. She posted career highs in points (20) and rebounds (14) in the win over La Salle.
• Quinn leads the ACC and is 10th in the NCAA with a .653 (32-of-49) field goal percentage. She is also second in the league with 9.7 rebounds per game.
• Sophomore Amber Campbell scored 20 points in back-to-back games against Davidson and Missouri. She has scored in double figures in four of six games this season and in 24 of 39 career games.
• The Demon Deacons were picked to finish 14th in the ACC this season by both the Blue Ribbon Panel and the coaches' preseason poll.
Last Time Out
• Wake Forest earned its first true road win since Feb. 9, 2014 with a 71-70 win at American to close out November.
• The Demon Deacons built a 14-point lead at the end of the third quarter and held on as American rallied to within one point.
• Freshman Kortni Simmons led four Demon Deacons in double figures with a career-high 18 points. Amber Campbell (12), Ariel Stephenson (11) and Ataijah Taylor (10) also scored in double digits.
Series History
• This will be the second all-time meeting between the Demon Deacons and Badgers with Wake Forest taking a 26-point road win (93-67) back on Dec. 28, 1992.
• In the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, the Deacs overall hold a 2-4 record after dropping an 83-69 decision last season to Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Next Time Out
• Wake Forest hosts Belmont on Sunday at 2 p.m. at LJVM Coliseum.
• This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams.
