WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest wide receiver K.J. Brent has been invited to the inaugural Tropic Bowl college all-star game. The game will be played on January 17, 2016 in Miami.
Brent, a fifth-year transfer from South Carolina, had 42 catches for 583 yards and one touchdown in 2015. His touchdown came on a 40-yard pass from QB John Wolford against Syracuse on Sept. 12.
Brent is the second Demon Deacon senior to accept an all-star bid. Punter Alex Kinal last week accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl.
