DEACS CONCLUDE NON-CONFERENCE SLATE AT LSU
• Wake Forest concludes its non-conference schedule as it visits LSU
• The Deacs, who snapped an eight-game losing streak to SEC opponents with a win earlier this year over Arkansas, looks for its first road win at an SEC school since a win at Arkansas in the 2001-02 Preseason NIT, a span of four games
• It marks the second consecutive year that the Demon Deacons have traveled to Louisiana, having won at Tulane 71-49 last season
SERIES HISTORY
• LSU leads the all-time series 1-0
• The only previous meeting came during the 1981-82 season when the Tigers defeated the Demon Deacons 70-64 in the Sugar Bowl Classic in New Orleans
ROAD WARRIORS
• Wake Forest is 4-1 away from home this season and has already doubled its road/neutral win total of last season (two)
• The Deacons' two true road wins are tied for the ACC lead this season
• Wake Forest has four non-conference road/neutral wins for the first time since 2009-10 and a win tonight would mark its most since six in 2008-09
• A victory tonight would give the Deacs their first three-game win streak in true road games since the 2009-10 season (won at Gonzaga, UNC Wilmington and UNC Greensboro)
• That span in 2009-10 also marks the last time Wake Forest won three non-conference true road games
WINNING THE CLOSE ONES
• Wake Forest is 5-0 this season in games decided by five points or less, defeating UMBC, Indiana, UCLA, Rutgers and Arkansas, after going 5-5 in those contests last season
• The Demon Deacons' eight wins this season have come by a total of 40 points, with the largest margin of victory coming by 10 points in the 81-71 win over UNC Greensboro on Dec. 15
UP NEXT
• The Deacons begin ACC play on Sunday with a visit to No. 18 Louisville
• It will be Wake Forest's first road game at Louisville since the Cardinals joined the ACC and the Deacs' first visit to the city since a third-place finish at the 1962 Final Four at Freedom Hall
