Wake Forest Hosts Belmont
• Wake Forest hosts Belmont on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m.
• This is Belmont's second trip to Winston-Salem in three years with the Demon Deacons earning a 69-49 win in 2013.
Wake Forest Storylines
• Wake Forest is receiving votes in this week's USA TODAY Sports women's basketball coaches poll. The Demon Deacons earned five votes.
• The win at American was Wake Forest's first true road win since Feb. 9, 2014, a 74-70 win at Pitt. The Deacs have five neutral site wins in that stretch.
• For the second-consecutive season the Deacons finished the month of November with just one loss. Last year, Wake Forest went 6-1 in the first month of the season.
• Eight Demon Deacons have seen action in the first seven games of the season. Four of the players are new to the program in freshmen Ariel Stephenson, Kortni Simmons and Destini Walker along with graduate transfer Keyonna Allen.
• Milan Quinn has tallied double-doubles in three of the first seven games this season. She posted career highs in points (20) and rebounds (14) in the win over La Salle.
• Quinn is third in the ACC with a .589 (33-of-56) field goal percentage. She is also second in the league with 9.0 rebounds per game.
• Sophomore Amber Campbell scored 20 points in back-to-back games against Davidson and Missouri. She has scored in double figures in five of seven games this season and in 25 of 40 career games.
• The Demon Deacons were picked to finish 14th in the ACC this season by both the Blue Ribbon Panel and the coaches' preseason poll.
Last Time Out
• Wake Forest dropped a 64-51 contest to Wisconsin as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
• Wake Forest kept it close and stayed within five until the final minute of the game when the Badgers pulled away.
• Ariel Stephenson led the Deacs with 13 points to go along with career highs in assists (4) and steals (3). Amber Campbell and Destini Walker each chipped in 11 points.
• Wake Forest is now 2-5 all-time in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
Series History
• This will be the second all-time meeting between Wake Forest and Belmont.
• The Demon Deacons won the only previous meeting, 69-49, on Dec. 3, 2013 at LJVM Coliseum.
