WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - A video of Wake Forest football wide receiver Cortez Lewis has become an internet sensation and now Demon Deacon fans have a chance to get in on the fun. Lewis has a handshake with more than 50 members of the football team and one lucky fan will have the opportunity to get their very own handshake.

The video of Lewis doing unique handshakes with 50 members of the Wake Forest football program went viral last week and was picked up by SportsCenter, Good Morning America and Sports Illustrated among others.

Wake Forest athletics encourages fans to submit their own unique handshake for a chance to meet Lewis and get your own handshake at a Wake Forest football practice. Tweet your videos at @WakeFB or email the video to wfsports@wfu.edu. Submissions will be taken until Friday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. and we want to see how creative Demon Deacon fans can be.

On Monday, Aug. 24 the finalists will be announced and fans will have 48 hours to vote for their favorite handshake. The winner will be announced Wednesday, Aug. 26 and the winning video will be posted on the Wake Forest Athletics YouTube page. The winner will be invited to a football practice to do a handshake with Lewis and will also receive two tickets with the Wake Forest football season opener against Elon on Sept. 3.
