Wake Forest Tournament History
• This year marks the Demon Deacons' first appearance at the Rod Myers Invitational, now in its sixth year
• The last time Wake Forest played a tournament at Duke was the Gordin-Myers Classic in October, 2009. The Demon Deacons sent three individuals to the event, led by Preston Yates' 12th-place finish.
Wake Forest Notes
• The Demon Deacons look to win their opening tournament of the season for the first time since 2002-03, when they started the season with the title at The International Collegiate, an event at the Torrance Course at St. Andrews, Scotland.
• Wake Forest won three events in 2014-15, the Primland Collegiate Invitational, the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate and the Yale Spring Invitational
• The Demon Deacons returns all five players from last year's squad that competed in the NCAA Regional (Zalatoris, McBride, Womble, Tanner Owen and Woody Woodward).
• Zalatoris and Cameron Young both advanced to the round of 32 in match play of last month's U.S. Amateur
