WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest men's basketball team showed up in full force for a 118-48 win over Piedmont International in an exhibition contest Friday evening at the LJVM Coliseum. This was the final exhibition contest for the Demon Deacons before starting regular season play next Friday against Radford.

Seven Demon Deacons scored in double figures, led by Doral Moore's 17 points. Konstantinos Mitoglou added 15 points, while Brandon Childress scored 13 points to go with a game-high eight assists. John Collins and Sam Japhet-Mathias each scored 12 points, while Mitchell Wilbekin had 11 points. Keyshawn Woods had a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds.

The Demon Deacons closed out the first half with a 35-5 run against the Bruins, pushing the advantage to 63-25 at the break. Childress scored 11 of his 13 points along with four of his eight assists in the first half.

The Deacs got off to an early start out of the half and never looked back. Thanks to a 3-pointer Mitoglou and a dunk by Moore, the Deacs were on their way to the victory. Wake Forest held the Bruins to 24-percent field-goal percentage.

Wake Forest dominated in the paint by outscoring the Bruins 64-12. Wake also out-rebounded the Bruins 67-35 on the way to their victory.
