Deacs Set for School Day Game
• Wake Forest welcomes VCU to town for its annual School Day game on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m. There are expected to by over 6,000 children in attendance as the Demon Deacons face the Rams. • The Deacs are looking to move to a perfect 7-0 against VCU in the all-time series, but the two teams have not met since Nov. 14, 1998.

Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons returned to its winning ways, defeating Samford 51-40 on Sunday, Dec. 18 to improve to 8-3 overall on the season. • Elisa Penna recorded her first double-double of the season and fourth of her career as she scored a game-high 17 points while bringing in 10 rebounds. Alex Sharp matched a career-high as she scored 12 points on the afternoon.
• Wake Forest is now 6-1 at home this season, the second-best home record to start a season since the 2013-14 season where the Demon Deacons finished the nonconference slate 6-0 inside the LJVM.

Scouting The Rams/
• VCU enters Wednesday's contest with a 6-6 record and a 0-1 mark in A-10 play after facing George Washington on Dec. 2. The Rams are 2-2 in their last four games, picking up victories against Furman and UNCG while falling to Old Dominion and Ole Miss.
• The Rams are led by Keira Robinson as she leads the team in scoring (12.5 ppg) and ranks third in rebounding (4.5 rpg). Mooriah Rowser (7.9), Isis Thorpe (7.8) and Galaisha Goodhope (7.8) all average over 7.5 points per contest. Goodhope also has a team-best 44 assists on the season. Curteeona Brelove and Bria Gibson handle the rebounding duties, averaging 5.4 and 5.3 rebounds per game, respectively.
• Beth O'Boyle is in her third season at the helm of VCU and has compiled a 45-30 record during her time.

Next Time Out
• The Demon Deacons close out 2016 and nonconference play on Saturday, Dec. 31 as the Deacs hit the road to take on James Madison. Tip-off in Harrisonburg is set for 4:30 p.m.
