RICHMOND, Va. -- Wake Forest got back into the win column Saturday afternoon, as the Demon Deacons defeated Richmond, 75-67, on the road.

John Collins recorded his third-straight double-double as he finished with 16 points and a game-high 13 rebounds in only 19 minutes of action.

Austin Arians and Konstantinos Mitoglou added 15 and 11 points, respectively, while Keyshawn Woods contributed 11 points off the bench. Arians' 15 points are a season-high for the graduate transfer from Milwaukee.

The Deacs (6-2) never trailed against Richmond (4-4), but the Spiders evened the score twice throughout the contest. T.J. Cline's layup with 15:20 remaining in the game tied the score at 38-all before Wake Forest pulled away for good. Arians immediately answered Cline's layup with a triple before connecting on another three-pointer minutes later to kick-start a 16-3 Demon Deacon run to push the lead to double digits.

The Demon Deacons' victory over the Spiders was thanks largely to Wake Forest's ability to get to the free throw line. Wake Forest made 21 free throws in the contest while limiting Richmond to 14 total attempts (6-of-14).

Wake Forest dominated the glass Saturday, out-rebounding Richmond 45-31. The Deacs used a 13-5 advantage in offensive rebounds to own a 14-2 margin in second chance points.

Bryant Crawford directed the offense with a game and career-high 10 assists while only turning the ball over once for the Deacs. The sophomore also added eight points, three steals and career-best seven rebounds.

The Demon Deacons return home to face Charlotte for an in-state matchup on Tuesday, Dec. 6. Tip-off inside the LJVM Coliseum is set for 7 p.m.
