Demon Deacons Go For Sixth Home Win of the Season
• Wake Forest will host Radford on Saturday, Dec. 10, inside LJVM Coliseum looking to run its home record to 6-0 this season. Opening tip is set for 2 p.m.
• The Deacs and Highlanders have met 10 times with Wake Forest holding a 7-3 advantage. The Demon Deacons have won the last two matchups in 2013 and 2011 and have won six of the last seven in the series.

Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons jumped out to an 18-2 lead on Xavier through the first quarter and picked up a 13-point win by the final score of 58-45 Thursday night at LJVM Coliseum.
Amber Campbell led the Deacons with 19 points while Ariel Stephenson scored in double figures for the seventh time in nine games this season with 17 points to help lead the Wake Forest attack. Campbell helped the Deacs get off to a quick start in scoring eight of the team's first 16 points.
• The win moved Wake Forest to 5-0 at home this season. The number marks the best start to a season in home games only since starting 6-0 to open 2013-14 when Wake Forest posted a perfect home nonconference record before dropping its first game home matchup of the season against Miami on Jan. 4, 2014.

Scouting the Highlanders
• Radford is in the midst of a six-game winning streak and stands at 6-1 on the season. It dropped its season-opener against George Mason before defeating Davidson, Tennessee Tech, Davis & Elkins, UNCG, Appalachian State and Western Carolina.
• Radford is averaging 62.9 points per game thus far while allowing only 51.4 points per contest. The Highlanders are led by Destinee Walker, who is averaging 15.0 points per game. She's helped by Jayda Worthy's 11.0 points per game thus far.
• Four players are averaging in double-figures for the Pirates with JaQuan Jackson leading the team at 16.5 per game. On the glass, LaTecia Smith leads the team with 6.5 rebounds per game while also adding 11.3 points per contest. On the boards, Walker leads the team with 8.0 rebounds per contest.

Wake Forest Storylines
• Wake Forest was picked to finish 11th this year in the ACC preseason poll by both the Blue Ribbon Panel and the league's head coaches.
• Prior to losing at Seton Hall, Wake Forest went on its first five-game winning streak since the 2013-14 season when Wake Forest defeated Belmont, UNCW, South Alabama, Florida A&M and FIU in December 2013.
• The current 7-2 start marks the best start to a season under head coach Jen Hoover. The Deacs went 6-1 to start the 2014-15 season, which marked the previous best start. But after the 6-1 start, Wake Forest dropped its next three games in a row.

Next Time Out
• The Demon Deacons will continue their homestand after exams on Sunday, Dec. 18, when they host Samford at 2 p.m. inside LJVM Coliseum.
